A break of at least 45 minutes. After 4.5 hours of driving you must take a break of no less than 45 minutes. It can be split into a 15-minute break followed by a 30-minute break, taken in that order.

What is the HGV theory test?
It's the DVSA theory test you must pass to get a lorry (Category C or C+E) driving licence. It has two parts: a multiple-choice section and a hazard perception section. HGV Theory Pass focuses on preparing you for the multiple-choice questions.
